Who We Are
The Academic Excellence Booster Club is a non-profit organization that supports and rewards excellence in Galveston schools-public and private, elementary and secondary. It underwrites programs, events, and activities, which recognize students and teachers for outstanding achievement and excellence.
What We Do
Each year fifty outstanding students and fifty top teachers are honored during our Top 50 Ceremony. The students, chosen by their schools, each select the teacher who has had the greatest positive influence on them. Certificates are awarded to teachers and students. A keynote address given by a former Top 50 scholarship winner and refreshments complete the evening. The Galveston County Daily News covers the event and publishes photos of our Top 50 Students and Teachers.
